Job Description

A Leading Manufacturing Company located in Somerset County, New Jersey is searching for an Cash Application Associate who will handle the following responsibilities:

 

  • Daily cash posting of Lockbox, ACH's, Wire and Check payments for multiple accounts in Microsoft Dynamics
  • Create customer deduction packets and uploaded to SharePoint for review
  • Post Journal Entry adjustments for account reconciliations, deductions, accruals, expenses, and samples in Microsoft Dynamics
  • Maintain monthly deduction reporting for Key Accounts
  • Manage a portfolio of 200+ customer accounts. This includes collections, deduction resolution, repayment request and weekly account reconciliation
  • Apply a high volume of customer payments to invoices and complete all payment batches by required deadlines
  • Verify accuracy of posted payments and apply according to remittance
  • Organize, retrieve and compile remittance as necessary
  • Record accounts receivable adjustments based on customer deductions
  • Electronic filing of accounts receivable documentation
  • Run reports for unapplied cash and work to resolution

 

Qualified candidates for the Cash Application Associate should possess:

 

  • Associate’s Degree a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable
  • Working knowledge of Word and Excel a must
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics a plus
  • High level of accuracy and organizational skills
