Job Description

A Leading Consumer Product Company located in Bergen County, New Jersey is searching for an Accounts Payable Lead who will handle the following responsibilities:
  • Research, analyze, and resolve supplier issues in a timely, accurate and professional manner
  • Process adjustments and payments in accordance with the Supplier Policy
  • Process payments for EFT vendors and import invoices
  • Invoice entry - via manual entry or performing excel uploads
  • Work with suppliers and external departments to resolve supplier issues.
  • Train new hires and review processes with existing team members
  • Handle/work with team members on the more complicated vendor correspondence issues and assist team members with questions on vendor issues
  • Cross train on individual tasks/processes
  • Work with the Management Team, make recommendations to streamline/improve processes within Accounts Payable
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualified candidates for the Accounts Payable Associate role should possess:
  • 3+ years in Accounts Payable
  • Bachelor’s degree a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent Word and Excel skills
