Job Description

A Local Services Company located in Essex County, New Jersey is searching for a Accounts Payable Coordinator who will handle the following responsibilities:
  
  • Prepare invoices and apply payments
  • Reconcile A/R discrepancies & A/P reconciliation
  • Handle a high volume of correspondence for multiple clients.
  • Problem solving, improving systems, and contributing to the success of the firm
  • Assist in various administrative duties including but not limited to data entry, filing, faxing and purchasing
  • Assist with responding to and investigating customer inquiries, concerns, and issues via phone, fax and e-mail in a timely and courteous manner
  • Other Accounting duties/tasks/projects assigned as needed
  
Qualified candidates for the Accounts Payable Coordinator should possess:
  
  • An Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance a plus
  • 1+ years Accounts Payable experience
  • 1+ years of experience working with any automated accounting system
  • Excellent communication skills
