Job Description

A Leading Consulting Company located in Essex County, New Jersey is searching for an Accounting Manager who will handle the following responsibilities:
  • Manage all functions of the Accounting Department, including invoicing, collections, vendor bills, tax issues, 1099 reporting, etc.
  • Prepare GAAP compliant monthly financial statements including journal entries and accruals, and revenue analysis
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards accounts and balance sheet accounts
  • Provide supervision, guidance and support to Assistant
  • Project Invoicing and Billing including revenue/cost analysis and reconciliations
  • Commission calculation and margin reporting
  • Professional Services tracking and invoicing
  • Maintaining and updating Accounting Standard Operating Procedures
  • Provide information as needed to external Tax Accountant
  • Assist in Budgeting
  • Other projects as assigned
Qualified candidates for the Accounting Manager should possess:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA a plus
  • 5+ years of experience
  • High level of accuracy and organizational skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
