Job Description

A Leading Healthcare Company located in Morris County, New Jersey is searching for an Accounting Clerk who will handle the following responsibilities:


  • Provide clerical assistance to accounting department
  • Process A/P invoices and reconcile vendor statements
  • Prepare invoices for payment, ensuring timely and accurate payments to all vendors
  • Perform data entry in a timely and accurate manner
  • Verifies items billed against items ordered and received and reconciles differences through follow-up with the vendor and/or other employees.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Must cross train to learn all accounting job functions in order to step in when needed
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support including answering phones, mailing, filing, scanning, faxing, and copying
  • Greeting and assisting visitors/customers if needed
  • Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails
  • Maintain clean and presentable work area



Qualified candidates for the Accounting Clerk should possess:


  • Bachelor’s Degree a plus
  • 1+ years of experience
  • Working knowledge of Word and Excel a must
  • High level of accuracy and organizational skills
